Architectural photography is my craft. After more than 20 years, it continues to challenge me to record the spaces where people spend their lives. Where they learn, earn their living, vacation, worship and attend concerts. And on and on.
As architecture and design have evolved, so have the tools of my trade. "Digital" didn't exist when I was a student at the Maryland Institute College of Art, and I spent a good part of my life with my head under a black cloth focusing the upside down image on a 4x5 camera. Now, cameras are smaller, lighter and the images are sharp and immediate.
But for me, what never changes is that internal challenge to see a space as more than meets the eye. I invite you to contact me to discuss your project and the best way to record them.
